We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality care within our care home. The ideal candidate will possess a Nursing qualification, strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional care, particularly in dementia care settings. This role involves managing nursing staff, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with health regulations while fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Duties
Manage and supervise nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care are maintained.
Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of residents.
Oversee medication administration and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Provide leadership in dementia care practices, ensuring staff are trained and equipped to support residents effectively.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance overall resident well-being and quality of life.
Conduct regular assessments of resident health status and adjust care plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and teamwork among staff.
Qualifications
Valid registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing or healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of care home operations and regulations.
Experience in developing care plans, particularly for individuals with dementia.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
