Registered Practitioner Psychologist (preceptorship Post) Band7/8a Adult Psychological Therapies Service
Job Description
The post is for an HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist to join the Adult Psychological Therapies Service and provide a high quality specialist psychology service to clients in the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust.
The post holder will have opportunities to provide individual, group and systemic work to clients, their families and staff, as well as opportunities to supervise more junior members of psychology staff. The service provides reflective practice groups to other teams within the mental health program of care and also has its own reflective practice group. The post holder may also be involved in service development, QI and recovery college initiatives as required.
The post is a preceptorship post and we welcome applications from newly qualifying practitioner psychologists and those already working in a band 7 position who do not meet criteria for the band 8a position.
