About the Role

As our Registered Service Manager, you will oversee and develop a high-quality learning disability service in Blackpool. Your leadership will ensure exceptional care, regulatory compliance, and continuous service improvement within a collaborative team environment. You will inspire staff and foster positive relationships with service users, families, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and operational management of the service. Support and mentor your team, cultivating a positive and motivated workplace culture. Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding policies, and medication management protocols. Lead quality assurance initiatives, incident management, and service development efforts. Build strong relationships with service users, their families, local authorities, and community agencies. Implement change initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Prepare for and successfully manage CQC inspections with positive outcomes.
What We're Looking For

At least 5 years' experience managing CQC-registered learning disability services or similar environments. In-depth knowledge of challenges and opportunities within learning disability care. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification. Proven leadership skills, with experience motivating large teams and managing change effectively. Strong understanding of safeguarding, regulatory standards, and quality assurance processes. Excellent communication skills, resilience, and a confident, empathetic leadership style. A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
