Registered Service Manager for Supported Accommodation
(Homes for 16+)

Do you have experience of working as a Registered Manager for a children's residential / young people's supported accommodation Ofsted registered setting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
OwnLife is looking to appoint a Registered Service Manager for our Supported Accommodation Homes in South East London. Reporting to the Care Director, you will be responsible for managing the service, including safeguarding, referrals and placement planning, staff and resources, monitoring quality and compliance. This role is offered on a full-time and permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage in a way that is aspirational, inspiring both young people and the staff teams.
Compliance with legal, regulatory requirements and organisational policies and procedures and provide feedback on the effectiveness of all policies and procedures.
Ensure home managers and staff teams have the skills, experience and qualifications required to meet the needs of each young person. Provide continuity of care and support, tailored to the Young Person's specific needs and requirements, as laid out in their relevant plans.
Oversee referrals and placement management to ensure that each young person has individual support and support planning which is tailored to their specific needs and requirements as laid out in their relevant plans.
Take responsibility for the management of safeguarding young people, risk and service governance.
Maintain professional relationships with the team around the child (TAC), multi-agency partnerships and where appropriate parents, families and other stakeholders.
What We are Looking for:
Experience as a Registered Manager in a children/young people's supported accommodation Ofsted registered setting
Experience of Ofsted inspections in the setting managed
Experience of managing a supported accommodation home for 16+
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Experience of leading, engaging and motivating managers and teams in a challenging organisational environment.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent
