Registered Theatre Nurse (Bank Nurse)

to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for a skilled and experienced nurse with a background in aesthetic surgical procedures under local anaesthesia, who can confidently act as the lead nurse (1st nurse) in theatre when required.

This is a bank position, offering flexibility with scheduled work days based on clinic needs --

typically around 3 days per month.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the scrub nurse assisting the surgeon during aesthetic surgical procedures, ensuring strict adherence to surgical protocols and aseptic techniques. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing minor aesthetic surgeries. Monitor patient vitals and comfort during procedures and short-term recovery. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinic protocols. Educate patients on pre-surgery preparation and post-operative care. Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of patient records. Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to deliver seamless patient care. Maintain high standards of infection control, health, and safety practices within the operating theatre and recovery areas.

Requirements

Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration. Proven experience as a Registered Theatre Nurse, preferably within aesthetic or cosmetic surgery under local anaesthesia. Confidence and competence in working as the 1st nurse (lead nurse) in theatre. Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach. Flexibility to work according to the clinic's surgical schedule (approximately 3 days per month).
