Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen at our small animal practice in Bath Vets4Pets for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team.
Based on the busy Mero Retail Park in the Pets at Home store at the edge of Bath, we can offer a fantastic location to work, as well as boasting some state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of free onsite parking.
By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential whilst working in a supporting team, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients, and carrying out nurse clinics. Assistance from SVNs with turning around theatre, patient prep. We are also proud to run cat friendly clinics and have ISFM silver cat friendly status.
To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare, a good sense of humour and like eating lots of cakes!
This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Maternity Cover position working 40 hour per week (1:4 Saturdays inclusive of hours and option of 4-or 5-day working week with no Sundays or out of hours). A part time role may be considered for the right candidate.
