Job Description

We are a very small RCVS GP accredited companion animal practice set up 10 years ago to offer an alternative to the corporate model of practice. Our intention is and always has been to remain small, so for the last 8 years we have operated a new client waiting list to remain true to our aims and values.

Our experienced and stable team aim to provide an individualised, holistic and open-minded approach to our super, very loyal, long-term clients and their pets. We like our clients and their pets, and will we always go that extra mile to help them.

We are very community-centred having just raised over 3000 to buy and maintain a new defibrillator and bleed kit available to all and located onsite by organising a fund-raising 10th Anniversary birthday event supported by our clients.

We Require:



A RCVS registered RVN with excellent clinical and communication skills who enjoys:

The job:



Full time position with no on call.

Time split equally between nursing and reception duties.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide high standards of nursing care for all patients. Assist veterinary surgeons during consultations, surgical procedures, and diagnostics Monitor anaesthesia and provide perioperative care Administer medications and perform nurse-led clinics Educate and support clients on preventative healthcare and post-treatment care Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with practice protocols Contribute to the smooth running of the practice, including maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Small/boutique but well equipped building with ultrasonography, digital radiography, Nomad dental radiography, class IV laser, and anaesthetic monitoring.

Weekly full team meeting and regular in house CPD sessions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00-33,000.00 per year
