We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time , mornings only Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients while supporting veterinarians in various clinical tasks. This position requires a strong commitment to animal welfare and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Varied caseload, including Orthopaedic, soft tissue, BOAS, cardiology and much more.

Duties
Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
Monitor and record vital signs of animals under care.
Prepare animals for surgery and assist in post-operative care.
Conduct laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring accurate results are reported.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the clinic, including sterilisation of instruments and equipment.
Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventative health measures.
Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
Requirements
Qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant certifications or diplomas.
Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred; familiarity with laboratory procedures is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
A genuine passion for animal care and welfare.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
