Job Description
Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for inpatient care and emergency & critical care? We're looking for a confident and compassionate RVN (3+ years experience) to join our experienced team at Shrewsbury Hospital.
In this role, you'll work closely with our dedicated ECC vet, playing a vital part in the management of inpatients and emergency cases that present throughout the day. This is a varied, hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing complex and critical cases.

Key responsibilities:
Triage and support for emergency cases Assisting with emergency procedures Involvement in theatre and anaesthesia Delivering exceptional inpatient care Flexibility to support in other nursing roles as needed within the hospital
What we are looking for:
Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered) Minimum 3 years' experience in clinical practice Strong interest in ECC and inpatient care (holding an ECC cert is advantageous) Confident in theatre and emergency triage Team player with a proactive and adaptable approach
Rota:
4 on 4 off
Shift length 11hrs
Times: 07:30-19:30 (1 hour unpaid lunch)
