Our friendly, independent cat-only first opinion and referral practice is looking for a new RVN to join our team. We have been open for two years, and won Best Vets in Greater Manchester and Best Cat-Only Vets in the UK in 2024 & 2025, as well as being the overall winner of the SPVS Veterinary Business Excellence Awards 2024.

We are a small family business which means no corporate targets and the ability to have a great working relationship with the owners rather than tiers of middle management and bureaucracy. We want the whole team to have a good work-life balance and a sensible rota. We work hard to ensure that we get the basics right, like protecting lunch breaks and making late finishes as rare as possible. Full time employees typically work 8.30am-6.30pm or 9.30am-7.30pm 4 days a week, with 1 full weekday off and no weekend / OOH work. Part time or school hours requests are welcome.

A love of cats with a calm and gentle manner and handling

ISFM certificate or other further qualifications would be desirable but not essential as we are proud to support and develop our team's skills
The ability to be organised and efficient, helping our small business flourish and grow

Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
