Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Medivet Kenilworth.


The team consists of 2 Vets, an RVN, 3 CCAs and a PCA. The role offers a wide variety of cases both medical and surgical and having the support of highly experienced team. The practice has three consult rooms, separate dog and cat waiting areas and excellent transport links with a train station near by.


This role is full time working 40 hours per week with 1 in 6 weekends at Leamington Spa 24 Hour.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:

Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients. Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity. Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities. Deliver patient monitoring and care. Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team. Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care. Dispense and check medication. Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards. Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.

Your Skills and Experience

RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse. Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team. Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
