Maternity Cover. Exotic Cases. State-of-the-art Equipment including Endoscope.

As one of our Nurses nears her maternity leave, we have begun the search for an RVN to join us at Eastwood Vets for Pets on a part time, temporary basis!


This role is perfect if you've had some time out yourself and would like to dip your toe back into nursing, or if you're currently a locum but considering some stability over the next 9-12 months. Maybe you'd just like to work in a great practice with a fantastic team and see where it takes you!

This position is part-time covering 24 hours per week, made up of 3 x 8 hours shifts on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and only 1 in 6 Saturdays, giving you a great work/life balance.


You'll be joining our hard-working and inclusive team at Eastwood led by Vet Jonathan and made up of 4 vets, 6 nurses and 1 ACA, as well as a team of 4 talented Client Care Advisors who support the client journey. We know our nurses are veterinary professionals, and as such we ensure that they're able to fulfil their clinical potential.


Based on the Nottingham Road in Eastwood, we're a standalone practice with a loyal and varied client base, including an extremely high number of exotic cases. We are committed to providing exceptional care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets alike. Our bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards, and we have state-of-the-art equipment including endoscope, giving you everything you need to carry out your role.


You'll have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
