Medivet Welton in Lincolnshire have an opportunity for a RVN to join this talented team.


Medivet Welton is a well equipped and good sized multi-vet practice. The fantastic team is lead by a very experienced and capable Lead Vet Surgeon and Practice Manager and they see a general but varied small animal caseload from a lovely group of clients.


Welton itself is an up and coming rural location that is ten minutes outside of Lincoln so has good access to a city but retains a village feel.


This is a permanent position working 40 hour per week and a 1:3 Saturday (08:30-13:00) rota.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:

Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients. Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity. Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities. Deliver patient monitoring and care. Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team. Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care. Dispense and check medication. Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards. Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.

Your Skills and Experience

RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse. Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team. Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
