Due to growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive team here at Lisburn Longstone Vets for Pets, with a work pattern that can be built to suit you, in this beautiful Northern Irish city!

This is a superb opportunity to join our thriving practice based in beautiful Lisburn Longstone, supporting the town and the surrounding area. The purpose-built practice stands alone on Longstone Street with it's own onsite parking and boasting Idexx in house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound and 4 consult rooms. We're a small friendly team led by Anna who opened the practice in 2015. Our ethos is a family feeling, fear free practice and we are a cat friendly practice. We are a brilliant close-knit team made up of 2 vets, 2 registered nurses and 2 receptionists, with a genuine interest in animal welfare and take pride in doing what's best for our clients and their pets.

About the role:

The role is in a varied first opinion surgery, with tasks including anaesthetic monitoring, nursing consultations, reception cover, administration duties, client care, inpatient care and diagnostic imaging. No day is the same at our dynamic practice!


We are generous with our CPD offering too! The opportunity to concentrate on specific areas is welcomed and encouraged for you to further your interests and your develop skills.

This position is a full time role working 40 hours a week, including 1 in 2 Saturdays (9am to 1pm). We can be flexible on hours whether you are looking for a 4 day work week or a minimum of 30 hours per week, please do get in touch. No Sundays and no out of hours.
