The role:
We are seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to join our team at Lida Vets in Newmarket.
Within this position you will be rotating throughout the working week between inpatient, theatre and consulting roles, our nurses can get involved in a varied caseload of small animal work.
Our full-time nurses work 5 days a week on a varied shift pattern of 7am to1pm, 7.30am to 4.30pm, 9.30am to 6.30pm and 12pm-9pm with a 30 minute lunch break. This allows for a good work-life balance which is essential in maintaining the high demands of veterinary life.
Participation in the 1:6 weekend rota along with an equal share of bank holidays is expected.

Lida Vets is a first opinion RCVS-accredited small animal practice based in the heart of Newmarket. We are a newly refurbished practice and we are proud to be an accredited dog friendly clinic via Dogs Trust also gained ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Status too which feeds into our patient centred approach to care.
Our clinicians are well supported by a cohesive team of nurses, students and client care team of which are actively supported in their career development as part of the Linnaeus nursing framework.

What we offer:
40 hours plus 1:6 weekends.
No nights on call during the week or weekends, however you are expected to participate in the shared bank holiday rota.
