An exciting opportunity has arisen at our small animal practice in Salisbury for an enthusiastic RVN to join our friendly and welcoming team.


We can offer a fantastic location to work, situated in a popular retail park (with a 24-hour gym next door), based in the beautiful historic city of Salisbury, surrounded by stunning countryside. The New Forest is on our doorstep, Stonehenge is just north of us, London is just over an hour away by train and the coast is a 30-minute drive south.


You will be joining an existing team of 2 vets, 3 Nurses and an SVN, all supported by a Practice Manager and 4 receptionists. We also boast some state-of-the-art equipment.


By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential {running nurse clinics, taking and processing blood samples, catheters, x-rays and monitoring anaesthetics and more}.


To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. We are a first opinion practice, and some days can be incredibly busy while others can be quieter, we never know what we're going to get!


Although we have two permanent vets, we do also use locums, and we need RVNs who can cope with the different ways these vets' work. We therefore need someone who is adaptable and flexible.


We would like someone who either has the Clinical Coaching certificate, or who is prepared to do the days training to achieve it, and act as clinical coach for our fantastic SVN.


Job shares/part time will be considered. The practice is open Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 7pm and Saturday 9am - 3pm.
