Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and experienced team in Kirkintilloch.

The practice features modern, air-conditioned facilities including a spacious reception area, five consulting rooms, two theatres, a prep and recovery area, isolation facilities, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, and a dedicated laboratory.

Situated on the scenic banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal marina, the location offers beautiful walking routes along the canal and former railway line--perfect for breaks or after work.

Team and Development

Our knowledgeable team includes 10 vets, with 2 holding GP certificates in small animal surgery and medicine, with three more currently studying for medicine certificates. The nursing team comprises five experienced RVNs and one student nurse. We also have five dedicated receptionists, an insurance claims administrator, and a Practice Manager supporting the smooth running of the practice.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to our patients. You should be confident in all areas of nursing, able to work collaboratively within a supportive team, and keen to develop professionally.

Working Hours

This is a full-time role based on a five-day workweek, with shifts alternating between 8:30am-4:30pm and 10:30am-6:30pm. Additionally, you will be required to work one Saturday morning in every five, from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
