Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal - Nights

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our specialised nursing team.



This role involves caring for both referral and first opinion patients, each with a variety of nursing needs. You will follow comprehensive nursing care plans created by our veterinary team, ensuring patients receive outstanding care throughout the night.

About the role

This is a night-shift-only role, working 32 hours per week - Monday & Tuesday nights (2 x 16-hour shifts, 16:00-08:00). You will be working sole charge and will be responsible for the care and monitoring of inpatients throughout your shift.



The role involves following detailed nursing care plans and performing a wide range of tasks to support the smooth and efficient running of the practice during overnight hours.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with relevant clinical experience. The ideal candidate will be confident, self-disciplined, and capable of working independently, particularly in a sole charge environment. Strong time-management skills and a high standard of clinical care are essential.



You should be comfortable providing both routine and specialised inpatient care, ensuring the wellbeing of patients throughout your shift.
