Job Description

Here at Axe Valley Veterinary Practice, we are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. We are based in rural somerset with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep in Blackford. Well behaved dogs are welcome to come to work too.

The position will include a range of Nursing responsibilities to include Nurse Clinics, Anaesthetics, Inpatient Care and Laboratory work. The role will potentially involve working across multiple sites, but we can be flexible for the right candidate.

The practice is well equipped and have extensive diagnostic and clinical tools including endoscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiography (including dental radiography), in-house laboratory and much more!



Our team

Currently we have 12 Veterinary Surgeons, including 2 Medicine Certificate holder, 1 Surgical Certificate holders, 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 2 Animal Nursing Assistants and 16 support staff across our sites.
