Medivet Speke is on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team. This is much more than your standard first-opinion practice, set in the leafy, tranquil area of Speke, our clinic provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a strong sense of teamwork and support.


You'll be part of a collaborative and experienced team of vets, nurses, and support staff, working on a varied caseload that offers excellent opportunities for both professional development and personal growth.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:

Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients. Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity. Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities. Deliver patient monitoring and care. Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team. If relevant: Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care. Dispense and check medication. Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards. Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.

Your Skills and Experience

RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse. Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team. Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
