Our small animal practice, situated in Friern Barnet (North West London), is seeking a skilled RVN or SVN to join our team. Our team is made up of friendly, supportive, and professional individuals who prioritize high clinical standards and exceptional pet care. If you like running nurse clinics and getting stuck into a scale and polish this is the practice for you!

We are looking for an RVN with excellent communication skills, who is confident in all areas of general nursing.

This is a full-time role, with 40 hours per week but we are open to part-time and can tailor the hours to suit you. There is a one-in-three Saturday rota with time of lieu. We do not have any out-of-hours, ensuring that our team can enjoy a fantastic work/life

balance.

Over the past two years, our team has grown significantly, with practice owners Roger and Jonathan bringing over 30 years of experience to the table. We also have a team of skilled professionals, including one vet undertaking a cardiology certificate, and a highly experienced head nurse with 15 years of experience in first opinion practices, 24-hour emergency practices, and referral hospitals. We also have recent graduate vets currently completing the new graduate programme, an SVN nearing the end of her second year of training, and two VCAs. Our practice manager, Petra, has been with us since 2015, ensuring the smooth running of our practice.


At Friern Barnet, we take pride in our purpose-built surgery, which is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including a full in-house lab, ultrasound facilities, digital x-ray machines, and species-specific kennel areas. We are eagerly awaiting our new look with a rebrand coming later in the year. We are also ideally located on Friern Bridge Retail Park, with ample onsite parking and excellent public transport links to the rest of London and the South East.


In return for your hard work, we can offer:

Competitive salary range of 32,000 to 37,000 Pro Rata, depending on experience. Supportive and friendly working environment. 1000 annual bonus for becoming a Clinical Coach Flexible rota to suit you.
