Due to maternity leave, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team at St Kitts Veterinary Group.

Role: Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire

Salary: 35-75K dependant on experience

Full time - Fixed term contract with the prospect leading to a permanent role

Separate cat and dog wards including an added isolation suite.

6 consultation rooms

We are multi-site certificate holders and many of our vets have keen interests and expertise in areas such as dermatology, acupuncture, cardiology, ultrasound, surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, exotics and reptiles.

About the role

We are looking for someone who is RCVS qualified, competent in clinical examination and surgery, and is confident consulting with clients to help maintain our excellent reputation.
With a varied and interesting caseload, you will be supported by our proficient nursing team of RVNs and SVNs, and our highly experienced receptionists.
We encourage a healthy work-life balance, with no night duties or OOH, 6 weeks paid holiday and a generous CPD allowance. We also actively support and encourage pursuing areas of clinical interest and studying for certificates.
This role can include a mix of early and late finishes and a share of the weekend rota.
