An opportunity has now arisen for a skilled, experienced and motivated individual to join Buckinghamshire New University as a Registry Administrator to work as part of the Student Records and Data Standards team, to ensure that student records are processed and kept up to date, to maintain the accuracy and integrity of data held, support student-related administrative and data entry processes and supporting the other members of the team and wider Academic Registry.
You must be organised, have a good eye for detail, be able to prioritise workloads as appropriate and be able to operate under pressure in a fast-moving and changing environment.

Job Purpose:
The post holder is responsible for undertaking a range of administrative duties for the University's Student Records & Data Standards team. To ensure that student records are processed and kept up to date, and supporting the other members of the Student Records & Data Standards team and wider Academic Registry.
The post holder will be required to be proactive and flexible in delivering support to students, University staff, other stakeholders and be able to operate under pressure.
The purpose of the job description is to indicate the general level of responsibility: the duties may vary from time to time without changing the general character or level of responsibility.
The postholder will practice an inclusive approach and support building an inclusive university community where people can be themselves.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the role:
1. To maintain the accuracy and integrity of data held in the student record system, including regular checking of data in liaison with others in the Student Records & Data Standards team and other departments in the University.
2. To support student-related administrative and data entry processes throughout the student lifecycle including enrolment, progression, withdrawal and other key activities and functions. Liaise with internal and external contacts to ensure smooth running of the service.
3. Plan and organise tasks to ensure a professional and consistent service is provided to students, academics, internal and external stakeholders.
4. To assist in the provision of data as required, using established systems to create documents and reports. Respond to routine and non-routine requests using various data sources demonstrating a high standard of customer service.
5. Provide guidance and training on processes and procedures relating to student records and data standards.
6. Additionally, the post holder will be expected to support the wider activities of the Academic Registry and University, including: To attend relevant meetings as appropriate and take notes as required;
Assisting with Registry-wide events, such as the University's Graduation Ceremonies etc, undertaking specific tasks as required;
To be actively engaged with internal working groups and to proactively implement agreed process changes within the University;
Adopting and demonstrating behaviours aligned to the University's values;
There may be a requirement for these duties to be carried out across different sites within the University.
