We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our Energy Markets Team on a permanent basis, based in our offices at Westwood, Coventry.

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our operations meet evolving regulatory standards, supporting the UK's transition to a smarter, greener energy system.

Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Here's what you'll be doing

Analyse new energy products for additional regulatory obligations and reporting requirements. Implement and maintain policies in line with Group standards and UK regulations. Review and document regulatory and compliance errors, supporting leadership with clear reporting. Conduct ad-hoc call monitoring to detect non-compliant activity and maintain access to recordings for regulatory queries. Support UK EMIR & REMIT reporting requirements and monitor developments in exemptions and obligations. Conduct horizon scanning for new UK regulatory updates and communicate changes to stakeholders. Manage and update online training content, ensuring alignment with UK regulations and annual review cycles.

What we need from you

Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements including REMIT, EMIR, and related frameworks. Experience in policy implementation, compliance documentation, and regulatory reporting. Excellent analytical and documentation skills with the ability to distil complex topics. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with legal, compliance, and operational teams. Inquisitive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.

It Would Be Great If You Also Had



Experience in training management and deployment. Familiarity with off-market transaction analysis and compliance monitoring tools. A background in energy markets or financial services compliance.
