An exciting opportunity to join our expanding healthcare regulatory team as a Paralegal, undertaking investigations and other key tasks for a large healthcare regulator.
These roles build upon our existing Tier 1 ranked professional discipline practice as part of a new team.
This team will be at the forefront of developing our practice areas, bringing our expertise to new clients with a view to expanding our work for professional regulators.

The role will include:
Case management and progression under lawyer level supervision
Reviewing evidence
Interviewing witnesses and drafting statements
Drafting instructions to counsel and experts
Corresponding with witnesses, experts, counsel and other stakeholders
Supporting stakeholders including vulnerable witnesses
Drafting court documents and preparing bundles
Assisting with drafting legal advice on evidence and case status

About You
Previous experience as a Paralegal is desirable, as is a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work. As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks. We also require you to have:
Previous experience of working as a paralegal in the healthcare, regulatory or insurance fields
The ability to work to KPIs, other deadlines and meet a chargeable hours target
Excellent IT and administrative skills
Good communication skills and able to demonstrate a person centred approach
Good written skills
Good analytical skills demonstrating an attention to detail
A positive attitude and being able to respond to the needs of clients and stakeholders
A proactive approach and be able to work well under supervision as part of a team
