Job Description

Our client is looking to hire a Regulatory Solicitor to join their growing team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created team and advise a range of clients across retail, logistics and transport sectors on a range of regulatory work.
The Regulatory Solicitor will deal with a range of work and responsibilities including;

• Providing expert advice on regulatory issues including health & safety, food and consumer law, transport, financial crime and environmental law
• Handle a diverse caseload, including regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.
• Advising a range of clients across sectors such as retail and logistics
• Deal with HSE investigations
• Represent clients in regulatory hearings and other legal proceedings.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored legal solutions.
• Stay updated on changes in regulatory law and advise clients accordingly.
• Contribute to the firm's growth by identifying opportunities for business development.

The successful Regulatory Solicitor should have / be;

• Qualified solicitor status with expertise in regulatory law likely to be around 5 years plus PQE
• Ties to Leeds
• A track recorded dealing with areas such as health & safety, food, consumer or financial crime.

The client is a large regional law firm who have a growing specialist Regulatory team. This team is ranked by the legal directories and the firm offers excellent career prospects with this role. You will work closely with the Partner in the team and you can expect a competitive salary and hybrid working with this role.
