We are seeking a dedicated Regulatory Solicitor to join a major international law firm. Based in Yorkshire, this role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, providing a fantastic opportunity for a junior lawyer with a background in environmental or health & safety regulatory work. The successful candidate will be integral to a high-calibre team led by a highly respected partner celebrated for their deep knowledge of environmental and regulatory issues.
The Opportunity
This role involves advising clients on various regulatory matters across the full spectrum of health, safety, and environmental work. This will include involvement in internal investigations, engagement with police and regulators, representation at PACE interviews, appeals against enforcement notices, inquests, and prosecution support to name a few. It is an excellent chance for a newly qualified or recently qualified solicitor to develop their career in a vibrant team that handles complex and impactful cases, offering valuable litigious and advisory experience to an impressive client base.
About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 0-1 PQE, ideally with a background (training seat or post-qualified experience) in environmental and / or health & safety regulatory work.
• Experience working on regulatory incidents and advisory matters.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to support with the management of client relationships effectively.
• Motivated to develop expertise within a reputed international firm's environment and health & safety practice.
• Demonstrable understanding of regulatory procedures, investigations, and enforcement processes.
• Competent in managing multiple priorities and working independently under guidance.
