Summary

We are seeking a passionate Therapist to join our team at Carlton Hydrotherapy Centre in Leeds. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing rehabilitation programs for small animals, contributing to their recovery and overall health.

Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate the needs of each animal patient Develop individualized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with veterinary surgeons Conduct hydrotherapy and K-Laser sessions using our state-of-the-art equipment Monitor the progress of patients and adjust treatment plans as necessary Educate pet owners on rehabilitation techniques and home care Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions and patient progress Ensure a safe and clean working environment for both animals and staff Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in animal therapy or physiotherapy (essential) Experience working with small animals (highly desirable) Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Compassionate approach towards animal care Knowledge of hydrotherapy techniques (preferred) Commitment to continuous professional development.

Job Types: Temporary, Freelance

Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour
