Job Description

We are looking for a support worker to provide support to our client who has experienced a traumatic brain injury. Our client does not require any personal care, our focus is on helping organise her day, attending and driving to therapy appointments and being part of the wider team.

The role

We are looking to add talented individuals to support a client who lives on her own in Horsham. Excellent rates of pay.

This role is for contract 6 - 8 hours with scope to increase in the future. Shift currently available are:

Monday - Friday afternoon onwards

This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and an innate ability to think quickly on your feet and engage individuals in their rehabilitation programs.

Vocational, leisure and community pursuits identified by the client are to be supported and motivated. There are opportunities to engage in a variety of activities, meaning there is never a dull day!

You will also have the opportunity to work with other professionals in the neuro rehabilitation field, including Neuro-Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physio therapist and specialised allied professionals.

You will receive close mentoring and supervision.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 16.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 8 per week
