We are looking to recruit
passionate & enthusiastic
support workers to join Team Steps and become part of what we believe to be, something incredibly

This role is based in
Looe
and surrounding areas and a variety of hours are available,
FULL client specific training will be provided to all support workers.
The main client is a young woman who requires complex care, including PEG feeding and management of epilepsy. She lives in her busy family home and loves to get out in the community with her support workers and try new activities.
Someone who is familiar with the area or can research into suitable activities for the both of you would be beneficial. As the client is a young woman, she is looking for support workers around her own age, to allow her to share common interests and view her support workers as companions rather than staff.

13.50 - 17.50 per hour, plus extra for Bank Holidays

Hours Available:
Currently, with our main client, we have Wednesdays and Fridays available, this will amount to 24 hours over a two week period.
We also have clients in surrounding areas meaning overtime is also an option.
Start date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities will include:
Arranging & support to attend appointments
General upkeep of the property
Administering Medication
Accessing the community
. Assisting with the clients programme of rehabilitation
Requirements for the position:
Complex care experience is preferred
The chosen individuals will be enthusiastic, reliable and self - motivated. Six months health and social care experience is preferable, however, transferrable skills and personal experience will be considered.
