Job Description

You will have opportunities to work closely with other multidisciplinary teams in the community, primary care, the acute neuro rehab team, the stroke early supported discharge team and other external agencies.
There is an in-service training programme in place and an intensive Trust and Local induction will be provided. The post is within a multidisciplinary team and you will work alongside Neuro Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists and Rehab Assistants.The post will be based at Peterborough, however there will be times where they are expected to cover further across the North of the county. The successful candidate may be asked to provide county wide cover at times. The successful candidate will work in an agile manner using virtual consultation to manage their caseload of patients, having access to a smart phone and laptop to support this.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Band 4 Rehabilitation Assistant to support the delivery of neuro rehab as in-reach to the inpatient rehab beds, as well as working with patients in their own homes. You will play a vital part in supporting patients with physical, cognitive and psychosocial challenges as part of a MDT to achieve their potential whilst instigating and delivering better health, better care and better outcomes for our patients.Staff personal and professional development is viewed as highly important, and staff have the opportunity to receive training through an in-house in-service training programme as well as being supported to undertake a blended competency package to help you develop within your profession and role.The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable to support service delivery across the organisation.The post holder must have access to a personal car for independent travel across the work locality.
