This is a temporary position for a 3?month period, working 14.5 hours per week.

Weekly shifts will vary, but may be scheduled from the following options (to total 14.5 hours per week):

Wednesday: 14:30-18:00 or 14:30-15:00

Thursday: 09:00-14:00

Friday: 09:00-14:00

Saturday: 10:00-14:00

Adults Enhanced DBS required

We're looking for a reliable and committed Kitchen Assistant to provide 14.5 hours of cover per week within our team at Great Western Court in Gloucester. You'll work as part of a friendly and supportive team to prepare high?quality, nutritious meals for our residents.

Under the guidance of the Registered Manager, you'll:

-Work with another Kitchen Assistant to prepare healthy and nutritious meals for lunch and tea

-Develop and maintain good relationships with the individuals using our service

-Follow all health & safety guidelines and procedures

-Ensure our kitchen and food service health and safety standards meet Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards

You'll need:

-Experience of food preparation for multiple individuals

-A positive attitude and good communication skills

-Understanding of food allergens and food safety

-Ability to maintain a clean and hygienic environment

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: 12.85 per hour
