We are looking to recruit

passionate & enthusiastic

Rehab Assistants to join Team Steps and become part of what we believe to be, something incredibly

rewarding and person centred.

This role is based in

Plymouth,

a

variety of hours are available

on a full time basis.

FULL client specific training will be provided to all support workers.

This particular client is

62 years-old

and suffered

a traumatic brain injury

following an accident in 2022. He has recently moved back to his own home and requires

24-hour support

. The client is

very sociable

and enjoys

watching competitive sports

and other programmes on TV.

13.21-13.50 per hour, plus extra for Bank Holidays

Hours Available:

We are offering

24-hour shifts from 08:00-08:00,

this is

including a sleep,

over a

two-week rolling rota.

Week 1

Wednesday (08:00-08:00)

Friday (08:00-08:00)

Week 2 - two shifts out of:

Thursday (08:00-08:00)

Friday (08:00-08:00)

Sunday (08:00-08:00)

Responsibilities will include:

Accessing the community

Finding and arranging activities for the client

Researching day trips

Supporting the client with day to day expectations

Requirements for the position:

The chosen individuals will be enthusiastic, reliable and self - motivated. Six months health and social care experience is preferable, however, transferrable skills and personal experience will be considered.
