Aon are currently recruiting a Marine & Energy Composite Broker to join our team in London.
Support Account Executives and senior team members in reinsurance transactions and project management.

What the day will look like

Support AE's and senior team members in completing reinsurance transactions and managing client projects.

Working closely with AE's and Analytics Lead's to proactively manage the renewal process and successfully transact a reinsurance placement including Analysing clients' reinsurance information to identify risk transfer solutions Crafting proposed reinsurance structure and setting desk pricing with AE and Analytics Lead considering KPI's, market dynamics and economic benefit Handling client expectations by communicating market dynamics and anticipated outcomes to client in advance of placement milestones Playing an active role in marketing and placement, handling queries, and providing regular client updates Developing and delivering strategic account reviews and account plans Sourcing and actively developing new revenue opportunities in conjunction with AE's and client teams Supporting the implementation of client plans and client growth objectives, including RFP involvement Supporting team projects by applying analytical skills to aid effective planning and identifying growth opportunities Actively assisting with the development and administration of specific resources to advance market intelligence, including liaising with internal and external sources to advance market insight

Supporting AE's by providing efficient and timely insights into data analysis and helping manage client expectations with insights in market dynamics will also be a key measurement of success.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

---------------------------------------------------

Minimum of 5 years of appropriate reinsurance broking or technical and analytical underwriting experience including project and account management experience Strong negotiation skills. Inspires commitment and action in others (both internally and externally) through strong communication skills. Considers the underwriter's perspective to adapt approach Invests time and resource in Research & Development to find new products/solutions to meet clients' needs Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
