Your Purpose



As our

Client Relationship & Bids Manager

, you'll be at the heart of Beechwood's commercial growth.

You'll strengthen relationships with our valued clients, uncover new opportunities, and lead the charge on delivering winning bids and tenders that showcase our expertise.

You'll also play a key role in freeing up time for our leadership team, owning the client engagement process from first conversation to successful contract delivery.

What You'll Be Doing



1. Building Lasting Relationships



Be the go-to contact for our clients, responsive, proactive, and trusted. Lead regular client review meetings, gather feedback, and turn insights into action. Keep account plans updated with key contacts, renewals, and opportunities. Track client satisfaction and spot trends before they become issues. Champion Beechwood's full range of services, identifying opportunities to grow partnerships organically.

2. Driving New Business



Research and connect with potential new clients in our key sectors, local authority, housing, commercial, and utilities. Manage a live pipeline of opportunities and follow them through to conversion. Represent Beechwood at networking events, trade shows, and industry forums. Craft capability presentations that show clients who we are, and why we're different. Collaborate with the MD to develop smart, sustainable commercial strategies.

3. Writing Bids That Win



Take ownership of the entire bid process, from opportunity identification to final submission. Write and refine tender documents that are professional, accurate, and persuasive. Build a library of case studies, policies, and responses to make future bids faster and stronger. Work with operational teams to ensure every proposal is realistic, deliverable, and priced for success. Measure bid success rates and continuously improve our approach.

4. Supporting Marketing and Brand Growth



Collaborate with our marketing team to make sure campaigns reflect business development goals. Share success stories, photos, and case studies that celebrate our people and projects. Keep marketing materials current and consistent. Contribute to blogs, PR stories, and thought leadership that elevate the Beechwood brand.

5. Partnering with Leadership



Keep the Managing Director updated on all business development activity and progress. Prepare notes, reports, and presentations that help drive strategic decisions. Bring fresh ideas, market insight, and structure to the commercial team.

Who You Are



You're commercially minded, people-focused, and proud of the work you deliver.

You're a confident communicator who enjoys variety, challenge, and autonomy. You know that details matter, but so does energy, teamwork, and positivity.

You'll bring:



Experience in account management, business development and bid writing, ideally in arboriculture, landscaping, construction, or environmental services. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, organised approach and comfort managing multiple priorities. The ability to build relationships from site teams to senior leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and tender portals. An understanding of commercial contracts and pricing structures.
