We sell our Salt of the Earth deodorant all around the UK and to over 35 countries internationally. Based in Chandlers Ford, where we manufacture most of our deodorants, we're a certified B Corp--meaning we balance profit with purpose. Relationship Manager

Role:


Having experienced strong year-on-year growth, we're now looking for a Relationship Manager to support our Head of Sales in managing customer relationships, increasing sales, and freeing up time for major accounts and new customer acquisition. You'll set up and maximise the use of our Prospect CRM system, drive lead generation, and engage customers through newsletters and regular communication.

Key Responsibilities:



Customer Relationship Management:



Address customer queries and complaints proactively to ensure satisfaction and retention. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers. Act as the daily point of contact for distributors, providing marketing and business development support. Meet and present to customers under direction from our Head of Sales.

CRM Implementation and Management:



Take ownership of optimising the Prospect CRM system. Train and support internal teams in CRM use, ensuring accurate data entry and usage. Utilise CRM insights to identify sales opportunities and monitor customer engagement. Compile market information, such as competitor pricing, to share internally. Assist in preparing monthly sales reports. Support promotional planning with UK key accounts.

Sales Growth and Business Development:



Identify opportunities to increase sales from existing customers. Conduct effective lead generation, including research, outreach, and qualifying leads. Work towards agreed sales targets, balancing growth and profitability.

B2B Customer Communications and Marketing:



Draft and send newsletters and updates to our B2B customers. Collaborate with the marketing team on tailored campaigns. Use social media to boost customer engagement and brand loyalty.

Coordination with Other Teams:



Collaborate closely with marketing, logistics, and production teams for smooth operations. Regularly update the Head of Sales with reports on CRM use, leads, and customer insights.

Key Skills and Attributes:



Strong business development skills with the ability to enhance existing relationships. Proficiency with CRM systems (experience with Prospect CRM is a bonus!). Excellent written communication, particularly for newsletters and marketing content. Strategic, proactive approach to lead generation. Confident presenter and collaborator across teams. Commercially aware and goal-driven. Well-organised, detail-oriented, and reliable in record-keeping.

Experience Required:



Proven success in customer relationship management and sales growth. Experience managing and implementing CRM systems. Demonstrable skills in lead generation and engaging customers. Experience creating newsletters, managing email marketing platforms, and social media for business. Essential proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Excel.

Salary:


Dependent on experience--let's chat!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-40,000.00 per year
