As a key part of our scaling and growth, we have opened an exciting role within our Loan Servicing team for an enthusiastic, pro-active Relationship Manager. Your focus will be the proactive management of our borrower portfolio - supporting borrowers in managing their loan, focusing on borrowers who present additional risk to LendingCrowd, managing borrower in-life events and reviews, and ensuring that communications strike a balance between treating customers fairly and improving the health of the LendingCrowd portfolio. Your key responsibilities will be:-

Borrower Management:

- Provide a service to borrowers to assist in managing their loan (Early repayments, new lending, forbearance, payment queries, general enquiries).

- Proactive management of borrower queries and monitoring alerts.

- Complete borrower reviews on an annual basis, or as part of the in-life events process.

- Manage borrower communications to assist with the collection of overdue repayments.

- Manage the defaulted borrowers process and liaise with the Recoveries team.

- Manage and conduct outbound communication campaigns to meet marketing or operational goals.

Managing the process of customer complaints.

Proactive liaison with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Credit & Finance).

Ensure company records are kept up to date, in line with LendingCrowd's contractual and regulatory obligations (FCA, ISA & British Business Bank).

Participate in the delivery of management information for customer related activities.

Provide assistance with Retail Lender Enquiries:

- Inbound enquiries to assist lenders in the management of their LendingCrowd account.

- Adhere to retail lender related processes.

We would require candidates to have a minimum of one years' experience in a financial services environment. In terms of skills and experience, we would expect you to display the following:



Be driven to provide quality output as part of a high performing team within a volume lending environment. Ability to meet deadlines and support colleagues in the portfolio management team to support our borrowers and retail lenders. Experience of working within a regulated financial services environment. Experience in working with customers through arrears, recoveries and litigation processes. Experience in debt recovery for SME borrowers. Experience in analysing and interpreting financial information to assess the prospects of recovery. Experience of proactively managing a portfolio of customers within a financial services business. Confident to liaise with borrowers at different levels. Confidence to interrogate and provide decisions on in-life events under own delegated lending authority.
You might also have the following experience:-

Experience of completing and analysing credit reference agency reports. Experience of conducting and completing Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Customer checks on borrowers. Ability to analyse and interpret financial statements provided by SMEs. A working knowledge of insolvency in law in both England & Wales and Scotland. Experience in both corporate and personal insolvency.
