About the Role





We're looking for a commercially astute and customer-focused

Relationship Manager

to join our Development Finance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing development finance deals from initial assessment through to completion, ensuring financial viability and delivering exceptional service to our clients.


You'll work closely with Lending Directors, Credit teams, and external stakeholders to structure and execute property development transactions that support the bank's continued growth in the residential market.

Key Responsibilities





Review and assess project and corporate information from prospective clients Conduct financial reviews and viability analysis using HTB's Appraisal Model Attend site visits and client meetings, ensuring all actions are followed up Prepare credit papers and facility letters in line with approvals Collaborate with solicitors, valuers, and monitoring surveyors Manage KYC, Source of Wealth/Funds, and sanctions checks Ensure loan conditions are met and deals align with credit expectations Own the deal lifecycle from approval to completion Promote HTB's reputation through intelligent deal analysis and proactive relationship management

What We're Looking For





Experience in financial services, ideally with a passion for property development Strong understanding of the UK residential property market Excellent credit writing and analytical skills Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
