The purpose of the role is:
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. From substantial demand within the building services industry for reliability-centered maintenance, a unique opportunity has arisen for a reliability professional to join the divisional reliability team in consulting/supporting various accounts on their reliability-centered maintenance program.
The successful candidate will be a key role within the business intelligence function of the team, focusing on the lifecycle of assets whilst driving for driving condition monitoring & reliability centered maintenance across multiple sites' hard services equipment, thus in turn improving equipment availability, and uptime with minimal impact to the client's production, science research & humanitarian welfare.
The 'field' element of this role will primarily involve performing condition monitoring on additional client sites' hard services on a monthly basis. Producing analytical reports with potential abnormalities and recommendations. These commitments to additional clients will create minor works or project opportunities where you will identify, project management, and support the installation and delivery of sustainable and reliable solutions to enhance maintenance practices.
Flexible working is a potential option and will need formulating and agreeing with your direct line managers, the majority of employees work from home a minimum of twice PCM. A statement from the Divisional Reliability Director: "I utilize the flexible working to focus on my vibration analysis and to create reports/presentations for the clients, I try and schedule these in and around my family commitments."
More specifically, other key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Assisting the client's team with system modification and project proposals within the context of system analysis as appropriate.
Working with maintenance teams and applying general engineering knowledge to solve problems and form remediation plans.
Performing condition monitoring and analysis
Leading and coaching various stakeholders in technology solutions for maintenance
Supporting new project commissioning & installations with precision maintenance practices
Supporting budget holders with forecasts and cost reduction programs/initiatives.
Conduct routine engineering calculations
Assess business as usual system performance using appropriate analysis including:
Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
Reliability hazard analysis and Operational hazard analysis
Working knowledge of lean methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.
Fault tree analysis and Root cause analysis
Avoidance of single point of failure (SPOF)
Human error analysis
Preventative/Planned Maintenance Optimization (PMO)
The role holder should have a minimum of an engineering apprenticeship qualification at Level 3 and ideally have obtained reliability and condition monitoring skills, experience, and qualifications. Similarly, the role holder must be familiar with statistical analysis techniques and be able to translate them into suitable written reports that demonstrate a strong level of communication skills
