Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for production of breakfast and afternoon teas, managing particular shifts and sections in kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties



As relief chef you will required cover the chefs breakfast &Afternoon tea shifts while the existing chefs days off and holidays .and also cover other sections if needed.You will preparing providing breakfast and afternoon teas on site you shift pattern will normally asked to work start 6 AM to 2 PM a rota will be issued on weekly basis based on business requirement.you will provided guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Conduct regular quality checks on dishes before they are served to customers. Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and creativity.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for culinary arts with a creative flair for developing new recipes. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff at all levels. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
