About the service
Amersall Court is an 18-bed care home registered with Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide accommodation and personal for people with physical disabilities and/or learning disabilities. The home which situated in Scawthorpe comprises four, linked bungalows, each with their own front door. The service has been developed and designed in line with the principles and values that underpin Registering the Right Support and other best practice guidance. The service has recently been given an Overall rating as
'Outstanding'
by the CQC under Section 60 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and Care Act 2014.
As a relief care assistant, you will play a key role in developing the service whilst enriching the lives of the people we support. Your role will be to ensure that people who use the service can live as full a life as possible and achieve the best possible outcomes. Our Values and Principles reflect the need for people with learning disabilities and/or autism to live meaningful lives that include control, choice, risk and independence.
A significant function of the role will be providing Strengths Based Approach building on links with Community Networks and non-statutory services which help promote access to, development of and awareness of community resources. In addition, the post holder will undertake the assessment and reviews for people in our service. Experience of Partnership Working and Support Networks would be desirable.
