The Relief Care Assistant provides temporary, compassionate, and attentive supervision to clients age 55+ in their homes. The role ensures the client's comfort, safety, and emotional well-being when regular carers are unavailable. This position requires flexibility, reliability, and a caring disposition.
TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
Essential
Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
Strong observational and listening skills.
Adaptable and able to work with minimal supervision.
Respectful of clients' privacy, dignity, and cultural background.

Understanding and experience of dementia and/or long term health conditions.
Experience of caring for people with care and support needs.
