Overview

Term time only role - Zero Hours with Mileage paid at 45p per mile.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a relief support. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in food preparation and cooking, who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service, food quality and safety while contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Duties

assist in the cooking a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards support the catering manager. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Support kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during break and lunch times Supporting the cleaning of the environments in line with company procedure.

Skills

Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Previous experience in schools is advantageous, particularly in high-volume settings. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during service periods. Must drive as this role cover Greater Manchester, Bolton & Preston.
