Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and customer preferences Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Assist in meal planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service during busy periods Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or customers Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food as required Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within restaurants or catering services Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and hygiene standards Demonstrable skills in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Previous roles involving culinary experience, including serving or assisting in large-scale food production, are highly desirable
