This role is structured as 2 x 6.5 hour shifts, including alternate weekends.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating innovative ideas and seasonal ingredients
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
Oversee the organisation of ingredients, kitchen equipment, and workstations for efficient service
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing up, sanitising surfaces, and waste disposal
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste and optimise resources
Train junior kitchen staff where necessary, fostering a positive team environment
Skills
Proven experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments with strong culinary skills
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
Proficiency in meal preparation, food presentation, and kitchen organisation
Experience in food preparation for large-scale events or catering services is desirable
Excellent understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
A passion for culinary arts and continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends
