Job Description
- Relief Delivery Driver
Main purpose of the role:
To deliver automotive parts, tools and accessories to trade customers.To pick and sort goods as directed by the van co-ordinator or branch manager.
To complete any necessary paperwork and to write up delivery runs as requested.
To collect customer returns and to complete the necessary paperwork.
To handle cash payments when required and to follow the cash handling procedure.
Hours of work
- 8.5 hours per day including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break, to provide cover for holiday and other absences on demand. (see employee contract for individual terms & conditions)The delivery driver role is very important to YMF. Our drivers are generally the face of the business so it is vital that all drivers are polite, courteous and helpful to customers and that deliveries are made promptly.
Full training will be given to all YMF employees.
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
Harrogate: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred) Driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (required)
Work Location: In person
