Willow Nursery and Pre-school are looking for passionate and enthusiastic relief early years practitioners to join our team.

As a relief practitioner you will be working as and when required to cover holiday, sickness and staff absence. Willow is open from 7.30am-6pm, but the successful candidates can inform us of their availability (term time only or all year round contract also available).

Your role:

- To support the team in providing high quality early years care and a holistic approach to education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

- To carry out your role to a high standard, working on your own initiative and collaboratively as part of the team.

- To embrace the challenges of an early years environment and be able to support children with a wide range of developmental needs.

- Communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.

- To focus on and celebrate achievements no matter how big or small.

- To continually reflect upon provision and work with colleagues and managers to ensure the provision meets each child's individual needs.

A minimum of a Level 2 qualification, a good understanding of safeguarding and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage is preferred.

Due to the nature of this role you will need to complete an enhanced criminal record disclosure (DBS check).
