Reach your full potential and join Quarriers as a Relief Intensive Support Practitioner for our Countryview children's respite service located in Quarriers Village, Bridge of Weir.
Your new role
Countryview is recruiting Relief Practitioners to join our dedicated team who provide respite care to children and young people with complex needs. The services is a fun and friendly environment where children can enjoy the sensory room and outdoor play area while providing a safe and stimulating space catering to individual needs.
As a Relief Intensive Support Practitioner you will work as a team supporting children with their daily needs and providing reassurance to families who rely on the service. Support will include person care, taking part in activities, cooking and ensuring each person feels safe and secure.
Working pattering: Shifts are early or late working 7.5 hours each shift. We are offering relief contracts and will require candidates who are able to offer flexibility to cover at time during annual leave and short notice. The service runs 24/7 and includes shift cover during evenings and weekends to meet the needs of individuals.
What you will need to bring to the role

• Compassion and empathy to support children with complex needs.
• Able to build long lasting trusting relationships
• Previous experience working in a similar setting is desirable.
• Reliable and flexible.
• Driving licence is desired due to the idyllic location of the service and to be able to take the children out for the day.
