As a Relief Logistics Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our logistics operations. Your primary duties will include patrolling designated areas, monitoring security systems, and conducting regular security checks on vehicles, personnel, and property. You will be responsible for controlling access to restricted areas, verifying identification, and responding promptly to alarms or incidents. Maintaining accurate logs of daily activities and incident reports is essential, as is providing clear communication to the security management team.
In this role, you may be required to cover various sites on short notice, adapting quickly to new environments and working both independently and within a team. Strong attention to detail, professional conduct, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are crucial. Candidates should have prior experience in security, preferably in a logistics or warehouse setting, and possess an SIA Licence (or equivalent). Flexibility with working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary. Excellent observational skills, customer service orientation, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment are essential for success in this position.
