This role is a 3 month Fixed Term contract, 40 hours per week - Working Monday - Friday, which is inclusive of Bank Holidays. Start and finish times vary, we usually arrive at the hub between the hours of 4am to 6am and finish when all of the veg boxes have been delivered.

Location:

To support a healthy work-life balance, we kindly ask that candidates live within a 30-minute commute of our Warninglid hub:

Old Grain Store, Warninglid lane, Plummers Plain, Horsham, RH13 6NY

Pay:

14.94 per hour, paid monthly.

What you'll be doing...

We're looking for an exceptional driver to deliver our organic produce to customers' doorsteps. You'll be driving one of our Riverford branded vans, and will be responsible for delivering a whole range of outstanding organic food and drink - taking time and care to make sure everything arrives in perfect condition, and as promptly as possible.


You might have to go above and beyond; sometimes our customers give us special instructions about where to leave their delivery, or you might find that a customer wants to talk to you about Riverford and what we offer. We want to make sure that we find drivers who are customer-focused and keen to make an excellent impression.


As a Relief Driver you be asked to cover driving rounds that you are unfamiliar with and travelling further afield as and when required, which may on occasion require an overnight stay.


For this role, it's essential that you have a full UK driving licence and previous experience of multi-drop delivery driving.

What we're looking for

Full UK driving licence & own transport (to get to the hub) 3.5-tonne van & multi-drop experience (70+ drops per day preferred) Good knowledge of the local area Good communication & customer service skills
